Privacy Policy
How Trident 3D collects, uses and protects your personal data, in line with the GDPR and Irish data-protection law.
Last updated: 2026
1. Who we are
Trident 3D Additive Manufacturing ("Trident 3D", "we", "us"), based in Co. Wexford, Ireland, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: sales@trident3d.ie.
Trident 3D is a limited company registered in Ireland (company registration no. 5655169). Registered office: Rathduff, Rathnure, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Y21A338, Ireland.
2. The data we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and provide our services:
- Enquiry and quote data — your name, email, phone, company, the description of your project and any files or images you choose to send us through our quote form or by email.
- Correspondence — the emails, calls and messages we exchange with you.
- Order and account records — the details needed to fulfil orders and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To provide and deliver the services you order — on the basis of performing our contract with you.
- To keep records required by law (for example, invoices) — on the basis of our legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, acting on our instructions:
- Web3Forms — processes submissions from our quote form and delivers them to our inbox.
- Microsoft 365 — our email and business productivity provider.
- Our website host — serves this website. [Host to be named here before publication.]
- Google Fonts — this site loads fonts from Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as part of that request.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) apply.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and quote data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and then for a reasonable period in case you return to us. We keep order, invoice and accounting records for the period required by Irish tax and company law (generally six years). Files you send are used for your job only and deleted or archived once no longer needed, unless you ask us to retain a print profile for reorders.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email sales@trident3d.ie and we will respond within one month.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its "last updated" date, will always be published on this page.
