PPS-CF
Carbon-Reinforced Polyphenylene Sulfide
Extreme Heat
PPS Carbon Fiber
PPS-CF is an "Ultra-Polymer" designed for the most aggressive environments. It resists almost all solvents, acids, and fuels even at temperatures exceeding 200°C. Reinforced with carbon fiber for extreme stiffness.

Best For: Chemical Pumps, Engine Components, Sterilizable Parts.

PP (Polypropylene)
Lightweight & Chemically Resistant
Chemical Safe
Polypropylene
PP is lightweight, tough, and virtually unbreakable. It is famous for its chemical resistance and "Living Hinge" capability (it can bend millions of times without snapping). It is the same material used in Tupperware and car bumpers.

Best For: Living Hinges, Chemical Tanks, Snap-Fits.

Polycarbonate
PC is one of the strongest thermoplastics available. It offers extreme impact resistance (used in bulletproof glass) and high heat resistance. It is rigid, durable, and can be transparent.

Best For: High-Impact Guards, Transparent Covers, Functional Parts.

Frequently Asked Questions about Special Materials
What is special about PPS?
**PPS** is a "Super Polymer." It is chemically inert (nothing dissolves it) and can handle temperatures (220°C) that would melt almost any other plastic. It is used in automotive engines and chemical pumps.
Can you print clear parts?
Yes, using **Polycarbonate (PC)**. While 3D printed parts will have some internal "frosting" from layers, they are translucent and allow light to pass through.
Why use PP (Polypropylene)?
PP is the king of fatigue resistance. If you need a "Living Hinge" (a thin strip of plastic that bends back and forth like a box lid), PP is the only material that won't snap over time.
